How to send Zoom or Streaming links to your guests

Three ways to share Zoom or streaming links with your event attendees


If you’re hosting an online event in Sticky Tickets, you can share your Zoom or streaming links with attendees in several ways. Choose the option that best suits how you want to communicate with your guests.


Option 1: Add the link to your event (recommended for automation)

You can include your streaming link in the Special Instructions field when setting up your event.

How it works:

  • Add your Zoom or streaming link in the Special Instructions section

  • The link will automatically be included in:

    • Confirmation emails

    • E-tickets sent to purchasers

✔ Best for: automatic delivery with no extra steps


Option 2: Send a message to ticket holders

You can manually notify your attendees using the built-in messaging tool.

Steps:

  1. Log in to your account

  2. Go to your event and open Notify Purchasers

  3. Click Create (top right corner)

  4. Choose Email or SMS

    • Note: SMS/email notifications may incur a small fee (can be paid via event billing or account top-up)

  5. Select your recipients

  6. Write your message and include the streaming link

  7. Click Send



✔ Best for: last-minute updates or reminders


Option 3: Send links externally

If you prefer to manage communication outside Sticky Tickets, you can export attendee details.

How to access guest information:

  1. Log in to your account

  2. Go to your event

  3. Open the Reports tab (or from the Summary tab)

  4. Download the Sales, Address, and Tickets report

This report may include:

  • Guest names

  • Contact details (if collected during booking)

✔ Best for: external email platforms or custom communication workflows

Important Notes:

  • Contact details are only available if collected during ticket purchase

  • You can check or update this in your Event Questions settings

  • Reports are free to access before or after the event
