Sticky Tickets offers discounted booking & payment fees for eligible group ticket purchases, reducing the per-ticket cost for buyers and making your event more attractive for group bookings.
There are two group ticket types that offer fee savings:

Group Ticket (and Group Reserved Seat) — a fixed bundle where you set the group size. Includes a 10% discount on the booking & payment fee.

Open Group Ticket — the buyer selects their own quantity. The fee is calculated on the total order value, which is lower than buying individual tickets.
📝 How the discount works: The 10% booking & payment fee discount is automatically applied if the ticket type used is a Group Ticket type (or Group Reserved Seating ticket type). No promotional codes or manual setup required.
Group Ticket vs Open Group Ticket — which should I use?

Standard Booking & Payment Fee Pricing Schedule
Before looking at group examples, it helps to understand the standard booking & payment fee that applies to individual tickets. This fee covers all merchant and credit card costs and includes GST. There is no booking & payment fee for free events or cash transactions.

Group Tickets and Group Reserved Seat — How the discount works
With a Group Ticket or Group Reserved Seat, the booking & payment fee is calculated on the total group price — not per individual ticket. A 10% discount is then applied to that fee automatically.
The formula: Booking & payment fee on total group price, minus 10%
Example 1 — Group Ticket under $150 total
Scenario: A group ticket bundle of 10 tickets at $30 each (total: $300)

Example 2 — Group Ticket over $150 total
Scenario: A group ticket bundle of 4 tickets at $150 each (total: $600)
Step 1 — Find the standard booking & payment fee for a $150 ticket

A $150 ticket uses the formula: $1.50 + 2% of ticket price = $1.50 + $3.00 = $4.50 per ticket.
Step 2 — Apply the group formula to the total bundle price

Instead of applying the per-ticket fee to each of the 4 tickets, the fee is calculated on the group total of $600:

$1.50 + 2% of $600 = $1.50 + $12.00 = $13.50 (before discount)

Step 3 — Apply the 10% group discount

10% of $13.50 = $1.35. Final booking & payment fee = $13.50 − $1.35 = $12.15

Open Group Tickets — How the fee works
With Open Group Tickets, the booking & payment fee is still calculated on the total order value first, then divides the booking & payment fee based on the number of ticket selected, which results in a significantly lower fee compared to buying the same number of individual tickets.
ℹ️ IMPORTANT: The minimum quantity for an Open Group Ticket is 8. This cannot be set lower, but you can set a higher minimum or maximum to suit your event.
The formula: Look up the total order value in the pricing table, and apply that fee to the whole order.
Example 3 — Open Group Ticket, total under $150
Scenario: Buyer selects 8 tickets at $10 each (total order: $80)
Step 1 — What would 8 individual tickets cost?

From the pricing table, a $10 ticket falls in the $10.00–$24.99 tier: booking & payment fee = $1.50 per ticket. For 8 tickets: 8 × $1.50 = $12.00 in booking & payment fees.
Step 2 — Apply the Open Group fee

The total order is $80. Looking up $80 in the pricing table: $80 falls in the $50.00–$99.99 tier
