What Ticket Purchasers Receive After Buying a Ticket
See what's included in the confirmation email, e-ticket PDF, and receipt that Sticky Tickets sends to ticket purchasers after purchase.
After a ticket is purchased on Sticky Tickets, the ticket purchaser automatically receives a confirmation email sent on behalf of the event organiser. This email includes purchase details and PDF attachments.
Confirmation email
The confirmation email contains:
- The event name, date, time, and venue
- The ticket purchaser's order number (format: ST followed by 7 digits — e.g. ST1418148)
- A PDF copy of the receipt
- A PDF copy of the e-ticket (if enabled by the organiser — see below)
- Links to add the event to Apple, Google, Outlook, or Yahoo Calendar
- Add to Google Wallet and Add to Apple Wallet buttons

Receipt
The receipt PDF is attached to every confirmation email for paid events. It includes:
- Order number and purchase date
- Event name and date
- Ticket types purchased, quantities, and prices
- Subtotal, any Secure My Refund fee (if purchased), and total amount paid
- A note that payment will appear on the ticket purchaser's bank statement as Sticky Tickets Australia Pty Ltd
E-ticket
The e-ticket PDF is attached to the confirmation email only if the event organiser has enabled the Distribute e-Ticket setting for that ticket type. Each e-ticket includes:
- Event name, date, time, and venue
- Ticket holder name
- Ticket type
- A unique QR code for scanning at entry
No e-ticket attached? The event organiser may not have enabled e-tickets for this event. Check your confirmation email for the organiser's contact details, or contact them via the event page to ask what to bring on the day.
Most common scenarios and questions
I didn't receive my confirmation email. Work through these steps before contacting support:
- Check your spam or junk folder. Search for "Sticky Tickets" or the event name.
- Check the right inbox. Make sure you're looking at the email address you entered at checkout — if you have multiple email accounts, check each one.
- Wait a few minutes. Confirmation emails usually arrive within minutes of purchase, but may occasionally be delayed.
- Check My Tickets. Go to the My Tickets page to confirm your order was placed. If your order is there, the email was sent — it may be in spam or sent to a different inbox.
- Contact our support team. If the email still hasn't arrived, contact us, and we can resend it. Include your name, event name, and order number if available.
My e-ticket isn't attached to the confirmation email.
-
E-tickets are only included if the organiser has enabled them for the event. If your email has no e-ticket PDF, the organiser may not have set up e-tickets. Contact the organiser directly to find out what you need to bring on event day.
There's no receipt attached.
-
Receipts are not generated for free events. If you purchased a paid ticket and there's no receipt attached, contact our support team.
Can I access my confirmation email, e-ticket, and receipt again later?
-
Yes. You can download your e-ticket and receipt at any time from the My Tickets page. See: How to download or reprint your e-ticket and receipt.
Can an organiser resend the confirmation email?
-
No — only the Sticky Tickets support team can resend a confirmation email. Contact us if you need it resent.
My name appears on all my e-tickets — is that normal?
-
Yes — if the organiser did not collect individual ticket holder names during the booking process, the purchaser's name is used on all tickets by default. See: My name appears on all the tickets.
