How to Transfer Your Sticky Tickets Organiser Account to Someone Else

Transfer ownership of your organiser account to a new person by contacting our support team.

Account transfers are handled by the Sticky Tickets support team — they cannot be completed through the platform directly. To request a transfer, send an authorisation email to our support team and we'll process it as quickly as possible.

How to request an account transfer

  1. Prepare an email from either:
    • The original account owner, or
    • A company representative, if the account is registered under a company email address
  2. In the email, include the following:
    • A clear statement that you are requesting a transfer of the organiser account
    • The email address of the current account
    • The full name and email address of the new account owner
    • If the email is from a company representative rather than the original owner — a statement explicitly authorising Sticky Tickets to make the change on behalf of the organisation
  3. Send the email to support@stickytickets.com.au

Our team will process the request as quickly as possible and confirm once the transfer is complete.

Can I transfer the account myself through the platform?

  • No — account transfers must be processed by the Sticky Tickets support team for security reasons. Contact us at support@stickytickets.com.au.

Does the original owner need to send the email, or can the new person request it?

  • The email must come from the original account owner or an authorised company representative — not from the incoming person. This is to verify that the transfer is authorised.

What happens to existing events and ticket sales after the transfer?

  • All events, ticket sales, and settings remain in the account. The transfer changes who has access to and control of the account — it does not affect any event data.

Can I transfer only some events, rather than the whole account?

  • Account transfers transfer the full account. If you only need to give someone access to specific events, contact our support team to discuss the options available.

How long does the transfer take?

  • Once all required information has been provided and validated, the transfer is typically completed within a few minutes to an hour.
