How to Create and Manage Gift Vouchers for Your Events
Let ticket purchasers buy a voucher redeemable across any of your events

Gift vouchers let ticket purchasers buy credit that can be redeemed against any of your events — unlike a promo code, which is tied to one specific event. This makes them a flexible gift option for anyone who wants to give the experience of attending one of your events, without committing to a specific date or show.
PREREQUISITE: Your Organiser Page must be enabled before you can offer gift vouchers, since vouchers are purchased directly from your Organiser Page.
How to create a gift voucher
- Log in to your Sticky Tickets account and go to Transactions > Vouchers.

- Select Create Voucher.
- Fill in the fields:
- Voucher Name – the name shown to purchasers (e.g. "$20 Gift Voucher")
- Amount – the dollar value of the voucher
- Validity in Months – how long the voucher remains valid. Under Australian Consumer Law, vouchers must be valid for a minimum of 36 months.
- Terms and Conditions – instructions for purchasers on how to use their voucher
- Select Save to publish the voucher.

Your voucher will now appear on your Organiser Page under the Gift Vouchers tab, where purchasers can buy it.

Where do purchasers go to buy or redeem a voucher?

Why Choose Gift Vouchers?
Gift Vouchers are ideal for those who love attending events from a specific organiser or venue or anyone looking for a thoughtful and versatile gift. With the freedom to choose any event from the listed organiser or venue, the recipient can enjoy an experience that suits them best.
Important Note: Gift Vouchers can be purchased directly from the Organiser Page. Therefore, the Event Organiser Page feature must be enabled.

Create Gift Vouchers
Gift Vouchers can be created and managed by the event organiser from the Transactions > Vouchers tab. This page lists all existing gift vouchers and allows you to create new ones. Please note that the Event Organiser Page feature must be enabled for this functionality.

To create new Gift Vouchers, simply click on "Create Voucher" button, then fill in the fields required.
- Voucher Name: Enter the name you want to use for your vouchers (e.g., $20 Gift Voucher).
- Amount: This is the equivalent amount of the voucher you're creating.
- Validity in Months: This indicates when the voucher will be valid. (Australian Consumer Law states that a voucher must be valid for a minimum of 36 months).
- Terms and Conditions: Indicate here how purchasers should use their vouchers.
Buying Vouchers
To purchase vouchers, go to the Organiser Page > Gift Vouchers tab. This page will list all the gift vouchers that the specific event organiser is selling. Click the "Buy" button for the voucher you want to purchase and fill out the required information and payment details. Remember, you can purchase more than one voucher.

Once the gift voucher is purchased, the voucher codes are sent to the buyer via email. These voucher codes are what you need to purchase tickets to the organiser's events.

Important Reminder: Gift Vouchers are only valid for the specific event organiser/venue from which the gift voucher was purchased.
Using Gift Vouchers to Purchase Tickets:
To purchase tickets using a gift voucher, go to the event page of the organiser from whom you purchased the vouchers. Follow the normal process of booking tickets on our website. When you reach the payment page, enter the gift voucher code in the upper right area of the page, right above the credit card payment section, then click the "Add Voucher" button.

Once the gift voucher is added, the amount of the gift voucher will be deducted from the total amount you need to pay for the tickets you wish to book. This will be shown in the Total Amount summary, right before you confirm your payment.
Terms of Use:
-
- One Voucher Per Transaction: Ticket buyers can only use one voucher per transaction.
- Equal Amount: If the total amount you need to pay is equal to the amount of the voucher you enter, the credit card section will no longer be shown, and you can simply proceed with your purchase.
- Exceeding Amount: If the total amount you need to pay is more than the amount of the voucher you enter, you must enter the credit card information to cover the remaining amount of your purchase.
- Less Amount: If the total amount you need to pay is less than the amount of the voucher you enter, the excess amount in the voucher will be forfeited and cannot be redeemed at a later stage.
