Creating Group Discounted Tickets - Group Ticket Type
Create bundled or group ticket offers such as Buy One Get One Free, group packages, or bulk discounts to encourage larger bookings and increase ticket sales.

CREATE A GROUP TICKET

Log in to your Sticky Tickets organiser account and then open the event you want to update.

Go to the Edit Event page, and scroll to the Ticketing Section

Click Add New Ticket Type (or Add Another Ticket Type if you already have existing tickets).

In the Ticket Type dropdown, select:

Group Ticket, or
-
Group Reserved Seating Ticket (for events using a seating plan).

- Complete the ticket settings and click Save Changes.
Your new group ticket will now appear in your ticket list.
GROUP TICKET SETTINGS
Ticket Type: Choose:

Group Ticket for standard group offers, or
-
Group Reserved Seating Ticket for seated events.
Ticket Name. Enter the name displayed on your event page and e-ticket.

Buy 1 Get 1 Free

Group of 10

Ticket Description. Add a short explanation of what the ticket includes.
Group Size. Enter how many tickets are included in each purchase.

Examples:

Buy 1 Get 1 Free = 2

Group of 10 = 10

Price. Set the total price for the full group package.
Include Booking Fee. Choose whether the booking fee is:

included in the displayed price, or
-
added at checkout.
Ticket Capacity. Set the total number of tickets available for this ticket type.

⚠️ The capacity should be divisible by the group size.

Example:
Group size = 5, Capacity = 50

Max Per Order. Limit how many group packages a purchaser can buy in a single order.
Start Selling / Stop Selling. Choose when the ticket becomes available and when sales end.
Show Tickets Remaining. Optionally display remaining ticket numbers on the event page.
Show Tickets Remaining (Event Level). Display remaining tickets across the entire event.
Sales Channel. Choose where tickets can be sold:

Online event page

Check-in app

Both
Hide Ticket. Hide the ticket unless a promotional code is entered.
Distribute E-ticket. Choose whether purchasers receive an e-ticket attachment in their confirmation email.

Tips for Group Ticket Offers
- Use group pricing to encourage early sales and larger bookings.
- Family, corporate, and team events often perform well with bundled offers.
- Clearly explain the savings in the ticket name or description.
Example: “Buy 4 tickets and save 20%”
