The Sticky Tickets POS device is a handheld terminal with an integrated laser scanner and contactless payment capability. It enables organisers to:

Scan tickets

Sell tickets at the door

Accept on-the-spot payments
Power On/Off the POS Device
- Press and hold the Silver button on the side of the POS Device for a few seconds.
Accessing Your Event
Select Scan New Operator to assign an operator to the POS device. You can set up the QR from your Sticky Tickets account for more details, Click here.
If you have already added an Operator to the device, then select Current Events, and your upcoming event(s) will appear on the Current Events screen.
Scanning Tickets at the Door

Tap the Scan Tickets tab at the bottom of the screen.

Hold the device over the QR code or barcode on the attendee’s ticket/receipt.

Then tap (Orange Button) on the side of the device, this will trigger a laser scan. You can scan simultaneously by pressing this button.
Results while scanning
Successful scan - Green display and chimes sound
Already checked in - orange screen and two beeps
Invalid QR code - Red screen and three beeps
Viewing the Guest List
Tap the Guest List tab on the navigation menu to view attendees. This screen shows:

Guest names (alphabetically)

Tickets checked in vs. total per order

A search bar to locate guests by name, company, or ticket number
Selling Tickets at the Door
To sell tickets directly via the device:

Tap the Sales tab on the navigation menu.

Select the desired ticket types and quantities.

The total will automatically calculate below.

Tap Complete Order to proceed to payment.
Processing Payment and Completing the Order
- A prompt to tap, insert, or swipe a card will appear to process the payment.
- Once payment has been processed, the Success Order page will appear; should you require a receipt, tap on Print Receipt.
