Sticky Tickets gives organisers the ability to notify past ticket purchasers when a new or related event goes live. This automated promotional email feature helps you re-engage your audience and encourage repeat attendance, without needing to manage mailing lists or create your own marketing emails
When you create a new event, you can choose to send a promotional email to attendees from one or more of your previous events. You can schedule the send date and continue to adjust your settings until the email is released.
Note that emails will only be sent to purchasers who:
- Attended the event(s) you’ve selected
- Purchased within the past 12 months
- Have not unsubscribed from promotional emails
- Have not exceeded the frequency limits set per organiser
Important!
- If a purchaser appears in multiple selected events, they will only receive one email.
- A maximum of 500 recipients per organiser per event can be invited using this feature.
To send an invite:
- Under the "Promote/Marketing" tab, click on the "Set Invitation" button.

- In the Set Invitation Email settings, select a date on which you wish to schedule sending the automated invites and then select which events to send the invites to. Keep in mind that the email content cannot be changed. We highly recommend to add an image of your event under the image gallery in the Event Description. This image will be used in the email invitation.

- Changes in the settings can be made up to the selected scheduled date. Once your settings are set, click the "Save Invitation" button.
- Once the date you set is met, an email invitation will be sent out. Here's an example of the email invite.

Once the email has been sent, the settings will be locked for that promotion and a summary showing the date sent and to how many recipients.
