How to delete an event from your account
Steps to delete an event and when deletion is available.
You can delete an event from your Sticky Tickets account only under specific conditions. Events with ticket sales cannot be deleted to ensure accurate financial and attendance records are maintained.
When can I delete an event?
Deletion is available only if the event meets one of the following conditions:
- Pending status — the event has been created but not yet published or made live. No tickets have been sold.
- Cancelled with no ticket sales — the event has been marked as Cancelled and zero tickets were sold.
Events with ticket sales cannot be deleted — including cancelled events that had any sales. These are retained for financial and attendance reporting purposes.
How to delete an event
- Log in to your Sticky Tickets organiser account.
- Go to My Events.
- In the list of events you have, locate the event you want to delete.
- Under the Actions column, click the "delete" link
- Confirm the deletion when prompted.
Deletion is permanent. Once an event is deleted, it cannot be recovered. Make sure you have selected the correct event before confirming.

Can't delete your event?

If the Delete option is not available, your event has ticket sales. If the event is live and you want to stop ticket sales, use the Cancel Event option instead — see: How can I cancel my event and issue refunds?
Can I recover a deleted event?

No. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
What does "Pending status" mean?

Pending means the event has been created in your account but has not yet been published or made live. No tickets can be purchased for a Pending event.
I want to cancel my event rather than delete it — how do I do that?
