How to Change the Name on Your Ticket

Update the name, title, or company on your ticket — if the organiser has enabled this feature and individual names were collected at your booking.

You can update the following ticket holder details directly from the My Tickets page:

  • Title (Mr, Ms, Mrs, etc.) — if this was collected during booking
  • First name
  • Last name
  • Company — if this was collected during booking

Note: Title and Company fields only appear during editing if the organiser asked for them during the original booking process.

This is available only if two conditions are met:

  1. The event organiser has enabled ticket holder editing for this event, and
  2. Individual ticket holder names were collected during the booking process.

If either condition is not met, the Edit option will not appear. See Can't see the Edit option? below.

Steps to update ticket holder details

Step 1 — Go to My Tickets. Go to the My Tickets page at stickytickets.com.au.

If you have a Sticky Tickets account:

  1. Click Sign In and log in with your email and password.
  2. Your tickets will appear in your My Tickets list.

If you purchased as a guest:

  1. Select the guest lookup option.
  2. Search using one of the following:
    • Order number and email address — enter the order number from your confirmation email and the email address used at checkout, then click Search.
    • Credit card details — enter the first six digits of your card number, the last three digits, and the transaction date as shown on your bank statement, then click Search.

Step 2 — Find and edit your ticket

  1. Locate the order and select the ticket you need to update.
  2. Click the Edit link next to the ticket.

Step 3 — Download your updated ticket

Important: Re-download your e-ticket after saving your changes. Any previously downloaded version will not update automatically. Download the new version from the same My Tickets page and use this at the event.

Can't see the Edit option?

If there is no Edit link next to your ticket, one of the following applies:

Individual names were not collected at booking. If the event organiser did not ask for individual ticket holder names during the booking process, your name appears on all tickets in your order by default. This is expected behaviour — it is not an error. See: Why does my name appear on all my tickets

The organiser has not enabled ticket holder editing for this event. Contact our support team and we'll assist where possible. Include your order details and the name change you need.

Most common questions

Why does my name appear on all my tickets?

  • If individual ticket holder names were not collected during the booking process, the purchaser's name is used on all tickets in the order by default. This is expected and is not an error. See: My name appears on all the tickets.

Will I receive a new confirmation email after updating my ticket details?

  • No — a confirmation email is not automatically resent after an update. You can manually resend it by clicking the Resend link from the My Tickets page, or contact our support team to have it resent.

Is there a deadline for changing ticket holder details?

  • This depends on the event organiser's settings. Changes should be made before the event date. If the event is approaching, make your changes as soon as possible.

I updated my ticket details but the e-ticket still shows the old name.

  • Re-download your e-ticket from the My Tickets page after saving your changes. The previously downloaded version will not update automatically — you need to download the new version and present this at the event.

Can I change the email address on my ticket?

  • Yes — but this needs to be done by our support team. If the email address on your order is incorrect, misspelled, or you'd like to use a different one, contact our support team with your order number and the correct email address you'd like to use. We'll update it for you.

Does editing one ticket affect the others in my order?

  • No. You can edit each ticket in your order individually. Changes to one ticket do not affect the others.
