Is Gst Included in Sticky Tickets Booking & Pricing Fees?

Yes — all booking & pricing fees are GST-inclusive. Here's how to access your GST receipt for BAS reporting.

Yes — all Sticky Tickets booking and pricing fees are inclusive of GST. You do not pay GST on top of the advertised fees; it is already included in the fee amount.

GST receipt for BAS reporting

After your event concludes and ticket sales funds are transferred to your account, Sticky Tickets will send you an email with a PDF receipt. This receipt itemises the GST component of the booking and pricing fees you paid — which you can use for Business Activity Statement (BAS) reporting purposes.

Tip: Keep these receipts in your records. If you need a copy of a past receipt, contact our support team.

GST on your ticket prices

As an event organiser, you are responsible for setting your own ticket prices. If you are registered for GST, you should include GST in your ticket price — the Sticky Tickets ticket price field is GST-inclusive by design. For example, if your ticket is worth $100 + GST, enter $110 as the ticket price.

Sticky Tickets does not separately add GST to your ticket prices — the price you set is the price ticket purchasers pay (before the booking & pricing fee).

The "Registered for GST" setting

When setting up your organiser account, you can indicate whether your organisation is registered for GST:

  • Registered for GST: Ticket purchasers will receive a tax invoice that itemises the GST component of their ticket price.
  • Not registered for GST: Ticket purchasers will receive a receipt stating that no GST is included in the ticket price.

Make sure this setting matches your actual GST registration status. If you're unsure, consult your accountant or the Australian Taxation Office.
