Do I Need an Account to Purchase Tickets?

Learn how to purchase tickets as a guest and the benefits of creating a free Sticky Tickets account.

No. You can buy tickets on Sticky Tickets without creating an account or password. Simply complete your purchase and your tickets and receipt will be sent to the email address you entered at checkout.

Guest checkout vs. free account — what's the difference?

Both options let you purchase tickets. The difference is how you access and manage them afterwards.

Creating a Sticky Tickets account is optional, but it can make future purchases faster and easier. With an account, you can:

  • Find your tickets any time — log in to the My Tickets page to view, download, or print tickets for any order, even if you've lost the confirmation email.

  • Manage your bookings — request transfers, update ticket holder details, and view your order history in one place.

  • Faster checkout — your details are saved so future purchases take less time.

  • All purchases in one place — every order is linked to your account, regardless of the device or browser you used to buy. 


ALREADY PURCHASED TICKETS AS A GUEST?

If you've previously bought tickets using a guest checkout, that email address may already exist in our system. To link your past purchases to a new account, contact our support team with the email address you used.  They'll help you set this up.

💡KEEP IN MIND: Creating a new account with the same email address does not automatically pull in past guest purchases. 


HOW TO ACCESS YOUR TICKETS AS A GUEST?

After purchasing as a guest, your ticket/s are in your confirmation email. Open the email and either:

  • Click the link to view and download your tickets online, or

  • Open the e-ticket attachment directly (if the organiser has enabled e-tickets)

Keep this email. This is the fastest way to access your tickets.

Didn't receive your confirmation email?

  1. Check your spam or junk folder for an email from Sticky Tickets.

  2. Make sure you're checking the correct email address used at checkout.

  3. Still nothing? Contact the Sticky Tickets support team with your name and the event name and we'll resend it.


MOST COMMON QUESTIONS:

I bought tickets as a guest. Can I still get a refund?

  • Yes. You don't need an account to request a refund. Check the event's refund policy or contact the event organiser directly using the contact details in your confirmation email. You may also contact Sticky Tickets support for guidance.

Can I transfer my guest ticket to someone else?

  • Ticket transfers are decided by the event organiser. Please contact them directly. Their contact details are listed in your confirmation email and on your e-ticket.

I used the wrong email address at checkout. What do I do?

  • Contact our support team with your name, the event name, and the email address you believe you used. We can locate your order and resend your confirmation.

Will creating an account automatically link my past guest purchases?

  • No. Setting up a new account with the same email address will not automatically link or import your past guest purchases.
