How to Show Remaining Ticket Availability on Your Event Page

Display a low-stock notice to create urgency — configurable at the ticket type level or across your whole event.

You can display a "tickets remaining" notice on your event page once availability drops below a threshold you set. This helps create urgency and encourages ticket purchasers to complete their purchase before tickets sell out.

The feature can be configured at two levels — for an individual ticket type, or across the whole event.

Option A — Show remaining tickets for a specific ticket type

Use this to display remaining availability for one ticket type only — for example, to highlight that VIP tickets are nearly sold out while General Admission still has plenty available.

  1. Go to My Events and open your event.
  2. Click the Edit Event tab.
  3. Scroll to the Tickets section and click the edit (pencil) icon next to the ticket type you want to configure.
  4. In the advanced settings, find the Show Tickets Remaining (ticket level) field.

  5. Enter the threshold number — the notice will appear on your event page once remaining tickets for this type fall to or below this number.
  6. Leave the field blank if you don't want to show a remaining count for this ticket type.
  7. Click Save Changes.

Option B — Show remaining tickets across the whole event

Use this to display a single remaining count across all ticket types combined — useful when you want to show overall event availability without revealing individual ticket type stock.

  1. Go to My Events and open your event.
  2. Click the Edit Event tab.
  3. Scroll to the Tickets section and find the Event Capacity and Show Tickets Remaining (event level) fields in the event-level settings.

  4. Enter the threshold number — the notice will appear once the total remaining tickets across all types falls to or below this number.
  5. Leave the field blank to hide the event-level remaining count.
  6. Click Save Changes.

How the two levels interact

If you have both ticket-level and event-level thresholds configured, the system determines which to display based on your capacity settings:

Condition Which count is shown
Event capacity is less than the total of all ticket type capacities Event-level remaining count is used
Event capacity is equal to or greater than the total of all ticket type capacities Ticket-level remaining counts are used

Ticket types that do not support this feature

The Show Tickets Remaining feature is not available for the following ticket types:

  • Donation
  • Open Group
  • Reserved Seating

Most common scenario and questions

Will the notice show the exact number of tickets left?

  • Yes — when the remaining count reaches your threshold or below, the event page displays the actual number of tickets remaining (e.g. "3 tickets remaining").

What happens when I leave the field blank?

  • No remaining count is displayed for that ticket type or at the event level. Ticket purchasers will not see any low-stock notice.

Can I set different thresholds for different ticket types?

  • Yes — each ticket type has its own Show Tickets Remaining field. Set a different threshold (or leave it blank) for each ticket type individually.
